A great dessert to comfort even the most stressful moment. These brownies were super easy to make, a hit with the whole family, and great with a tall glass of milk! I will absolutely make these again! A wonderful recipe from Better Homes and Garden! I doubled the batch and used a 9×13 Pyrex pan lined with foil!
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate melted and cooled
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare an 8×8 pan.
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Once creamy, beat in eggs. Blend in chocolate. Stir in flour. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 mins. Let cool completely. Makes 8-16 squares depending on how large or small you cut them. (I lined the pan with foil for easier cut and release!)
