Fall sandwich, Turkey and Pumpkin on Pumpernickel!

While touring DC, H and I stopped by a local museum and while there had lunch. I was intrigued by their pumpkin dishes and tried there pumpkin and turkey sandwich. It was great! I was surprised to see they used pumpkin as the condiment on the sandwich! A great way to enjoy the fruits and veggies of the season!

ENJOY!

Ingredients:
2-3 slices of turkey breast
2 slices of good, thick pumpernickel bread
1-2 tbsp pumpkin-canned is fine, just plain pumpkin with no flavors added in
2 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:
Assemble meats and cheeses on sandwich. Spread a tablespoon or two of the pumpkin on each slice and finish assembling sandwich!
