Anna Potatoes

One of my favorite potato side dish. Very easy to make and makes an impressive dish. There are many recipes out there, but this is one I have used for years.

Serves 2

2 medium potatoes washed and sliced thinly
2 tbsp butter melted
1 tsp garlic minced
salt and pepper to taste

Wash and thinly slice potatoes. Line in a small baking dish. Top with melted butter and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for 20 mins covered in foil. Uncover and bake at 400 until just turning brown and getting slightly crispy. Time will depend on thickness of potato and how large the pan is. Keep watch. Let cool 5 mins. Invert onto serving platter and cut into wedges. (I left ours in the small baking dish and served it at the table in the dish for just the two of us.)

I don’t think I’ve ever had anything quite like this, but it looks like a great way to make a potato side dish that’s different from the standard mashed, baked, etc.
