Butterscotch and oatmeal blondies

HOLY RICH, but HOLY GOOD. We love blondies around here, but there are none quite like these. I only had a small small small taste to make sure they were OK and were they ever good. I found this recipe on Cookie Madness and added in the oatmeal to make an oatmeal scotchie type bar. Try these out today!

Ingredients:
1 stick butter-melted and cooled
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
I added 3/4 cup oatmeal

Directions:
Mix butter, brown sugar, egg, and egg yolk together gently. Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix until wet. Add in chips and oatmeal.

Bake at 350 for 25-27 minutes in an 8×8 pan light greases (I lined with foil for easy release).

Let cool completely. Cut and enjoy with a tall glass of milk.
