Almond butter chocolate chip cookies

As good as peanut butter cookies, but cleaner and easier to make! I found this recipe in the latest edition of Clean Eating Mag and fell in love! H and I cant stop eating these goodies and with them being soooooo easy to make, I can whip up a half batch quickly and enjoy without fuss! Definitely give these a try. The only change I might make is less salt. To me they seemed a bit salty, but I always think that about nut butter cookies anyway!

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted almond butter, stirred well
3/4 cup Sucanat
1 large egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
3 oz dark chocolate (70% or greater) broken into small pieces

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until blended. Stir in chocolate. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned
