Tequila Grilled Shrimp

Ahhh… grilling season is here! There is nothing better than a warm evening, grill going and getting together with friends!! And this recipe was perfect for that..easy to make, easy for a crowd and definitely a HIT! This recipe is from the latest issue of Marth Stewart Every Day Food!


1 lbs shrimp peeled and deveined
1/4 cup silver or white tequila
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
salt and pepper to season
evoo for grill or grill pan
1 jalapeno minced to top

In a medium bowl combine shrimp thru salt and pepper. Let marinate for 20 mins.
Heat grill or grill pan and oil grates. Skewer shrimp and place on grill. Grill for about 4-6 mins. Flip once until done. Top with minced jalapeno and serve with lime wedges. I served over fiesta brown rice!

  1. Wow, that shrimp looks amazing to me! Or maybe because grilled shrimp is like my all time favorite, lol! But really, grilling shrimp is the best way to cook it. You can actually taste the sweetness of its meat. All you needed is some salt and pepper and that’s it, you’re all good. Really simple but really yummy!
