Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Posted: March 24, 2009 | Author: lovestoeat | Filed under: Chocolate, Cookies, Dessert |3 CommentsAll of my favorites in one chewy, moist cookie! These are fantastic right out of the oven and I also make cookie dough balls out of them to keep in the freezer. From freezer to oven you will have warm, fresh cookies whenever you want! This is a great recipe from Southern Food.
***Dont over bake or they will become too dry. Take out a minute or two early and they are perfect!
ENJOY!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. Add the egg and mix until fluffy. Blend the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together well. Add these dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips. Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls (I use my medium sized cookie scoop for larger cookies!) onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375°. **I let cool on the sheet for a couple minutes.
My mouth is watering just looking at that picture! Yum!
Yum! What a classic (and delicious) combination. These cookies look great.
How yummy! The Kiddo has just discovered he loves peanut butter — we’ll have to try these!
